How to find the real meaning of human life through studying & contemplating Buddha's teachings
Sat 19th October | Day Course | 10am – 4:30pm
“Buddha’s teachings, or Dharma, are the practical method to find the real meaning of human life. Because Dharma is very profound when we are reading Dharma books we should contemplate their meaning again and again until it touches our heart. This is very important for everyone.”
– Venerable Geshe Keslang Gyatso Rinpoche, The Mirror of Dharma
This special day course will provide practical teachings on how to study and contemplate Dharma in such a way that our heart is touched and our lives are genuinely transformed.
We will explore why we need to practice Buddha’s teachings as explained in The Mirror of Dharma and then learn special ways of listening, contemplating and memorising according to the Lamrim teachings and oral instructions from Venerable Geshe-la.
Whether you already enjoy studying or it is something you find challenging, this is a not-to-be missed opportunity for the sincere student of Kadampa Buddhism. Everyone is welcome to attend.
