Meditation for Busy People | October – November

with experienced meditation teacher, Vaida Jankauskaite

Stress, frustration and anger are common experiences in modern life. These painful states of mind can easily arise when we encounter challenging situations and difficult people. If anger is not recognized early on it becomes a poison that destroys our happiness and can interfere with our relationships.

This revealing series of classes will introduce several methods for recognizing, reducing and finally removing this destructive habit from our mind, helping us to experience the peace and freedom that we all long for.

Each session will include a combination of teachings and meditation with an opportunity to ask questions at the end.

What to Expect

These classes are open to everyone. They start with a welcome and guided breathing meditation to settle the mind, this usually lasts around 20 minutes.

Then there is an inspiring talk exploring practical methods derived from Buddha’s teachings to improve our daily happiness, solve our internal problems and move towards lasting peace of mind. The teachings are very practical in nature, drawing from everyday examples and showing how we can remain mindful of the insights we gain during the course of our daily life.

The class concludes with a second meditation, based on the ideas raised and some take away advice on how to implement the teaching into our day.

Classes run as a series but can also be attended on a drop-in basis at any time as each class is also self-contained. See below for class details and block booking.
