Learn to Meditate Classes

Meditation is becoming increasingly recognized as an effective means to reduce stress and improve our quality of life, however it also has much deeper and far-reaching benefits that have been understood by Buddhist practitioners for thousands of years.
The benefits of meditation include:
– Effective means to reduce stress & anxiety
– Improves mindfulness & concentration
– Promotes a more positive approach to life
– Aids relaxation and letting go of tension
During this series of classes, be guided by an experienced practitioner through several meditations that can be reproduced at home, learn how to improve mindfulness and concentration; as well as how to set up a regular meditation practice. There will also be an opportunity to ask questions and receive guidance on how to improve your meditation practice.
This course is suitable for everyone from complete beginners to experienced meditators.
It is not necessary to attend the entire series. Each class can be attended on a drop-in basis. Everyone welcome.
April series – 5, 19 & 26 April (please note there is no class on 12 April as the Temple is closed that week)
May series – 3, 10 & 17 May
