“By meditating on the great value and rarity of our precious human life we will develop a spontaneous and continuous desire to take full advantage of it.”
Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche
This inspiring course will help us to appreciate the great value of our human opportunity and become motivated to extract the most meaning from our life.
Based on this understanding we will look at simple and practical teachings found within Buddhism that help us to transform every aspect of our life into part of our spiritual path.
What does the class entail?
Each class consists of a breathing meditation to settle the mind, a short talk exploring an aspect of training in mindfulness and a second meditation based on the ideas raised. The session concludes with some take away advice that can be practised beyond the sessions allowing the benefits to pervade our life.
Do I have to attend all 5-weeks/3-weeks?
No, each class is self-contained and can be attended on a drop-in basis. However, it is beneficial if possible to attend the entire series of classes.
What will be covered each week?
