Stress, frustration and anger are common experiences in modern life. These painful states of mind can easily arise when we encounter challenging situations and difficult people. If anger is not recognized early on it becomes a poison that destroys our happiness and can interfere with our relationships.
This revealing series of classes will introduce several methods for recognizing, reducing and finally removing this destructive habit from our mind, helping us to experience the peace and freedom that we all long for.
Each session will include a combination of teachings and meditation with an opportunity to ask questions at the end. Everyone Welcome.
Wed 5 Sept/Sun 9 Sept – What is our problem?
This class will explore the real nature of our problems and address the underlying causes of stress and frustration.
Wed 12 Sept/Sun 16 Sept – Why we get stressed
Discover the stages by which stress and frustration develop, learning to use this understanding to gradually gain control over our thoughts.
Wed 19 Sept/Sun 23 Sept – Learning to let go
Discover how to drop our anger when it arises by remaining mindful of the faults of anger and preventing the buildup of bad feelings.
Wed 26 Sept/Sun 30 Sept – Dealing with Difficult People
Practical advice on how to control our mind when faced with people we find challenging.
Wed 3 Oct/Sun 7 Oct – Finding Peace through wisdom
The final class of this series will explore how we can use the wisdom teachings of Buddha to find peace and enjoy a life free from stress, anger and frustration.
