The Art of Enlightenment: Buddhist Art Course | Friday 2 – Sunday 4 June | with qualified Kadampa Artist Gen Kelsang Wangchen

Images and statues of Buddhas have been objects of faith and inspiration for thousands of years. Learn how to draw Buddha’s image and perfect the art of enlightenment. This special weekend event will be taught by experienced Kadampa Artist, Gen Kelsang Wangchen, providing an introduction to this relaxing and inspiring art. You do not need to be an artist to enjoy learning these techniques and exploring the meditative effects of Buddhist art.  No previous experience needed, just a willingness to learn!

Saturday 3 June:
10am-4.30pm | Art Course
Sunday 4 June: (Buddha’s Turning of the Wheel of Dharma Day)
10am-4.30pm | Art Course
5.30-7.30pm  |  Offering to the Spiritual Guide chanted prayers with food offering
Fees:
£50 for the weekend inclusive of course fees, lunches and materials
Free for KMC London members with additional £15 for lunches and art materials, payable in advance.
